Please check-in at the registration desk near the Green Auditorium in the Administration Building (Building 101), at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) main campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Signs will direct you to the registration area once you are in the Administration Building. The Celebration will be on Tuesday, November 15, at 9:00 a.m., in the Green Auditorium, Building 101. Due to NIST security, no on-site registrations can be accepted and all attendees must be pre-registered. A government-issued photo identification must be presented at the Visitor Center before entering the NIST campus; for non-U.S. citizens, this identification must be a passport. Attendees must wear their workshop badge at all times while on the NIST campus. Registration questions: Karen Startsman, (karen.startsman@nist.gov), phone: 301-975-6602. Attendees will not be called out of the meeting to receive telephone calls, except in emergencies. Wireless access will be available to participants. West Square at NIST. Refreshments will be available at two coffee breaks during the celebration. Lunch is not provided for Celebration attendees. Attendees may purchase their own lunch in the NIST cafeteria or leave the campus to purchase lunch. If you leave the NIST campus for lunch, please be prepared to show your Celebration event registration badge and photo ID upon your return to the NIST campus. A Banquet dinner will be held at the Marriott Courtyard Gaithersburg hotel on Tuesday evening, November 15, beginning with a cash bar at 6 p.m. One dinner ticket is included in the cost of the event registration. Amit Singhal, former Google SVP of Search and now head of the Singhal Foundation, will be the banquet speaker. |
